Music Recording Artist Heather Russell’s universal themes of love, loss, and inner searching reach straight to the heart of any listener, and her warm personality and stage presence create a captivating, almost dreamy atmosphere. Heather has contributed vocals and instrumentals on album recordings with a number of rock, experimental, jazz improv, and theater groups. She has played Saxophone with the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Oboe and Vocals with Howlin’ Maggie, the Chaotic Arts Ensemble and Badboy Butch Badson. She also contributed vocals and recorder for the production of Molly Sweeney by Chapel Hill's Playmakers Repertory Company.
